Water leak investigation and repairs
Water beneath a sink, around a toilet or near visible pipework can have several causes. Tell us where you first noticed it, whether it is continuing and which fitting was being used. For an active leak, call to check whether we can attend.
Finding the source
The place where water appears is not always where the leak starts. Describe any changes and previous repairs, and send a photograph if you can do so safely. We will explain whether an inspection is needed before agreeing a repair.
Access and investigation
Some connections are accessible; others sit behind panels, units or finishes. Tell us if access is restricted. Investigation and repair may be separate stages, and any work affecting finishes needs to be discussed before proceeding. We do not promise a non-invasive survey or specialist detection equipment without confirming that it is suitable and available.
Repair scope and quotation
Once the issue is understood, the proposed work can account for the affected connection, replacement parts and access. Do not assume that repair of a pipe includes making good walls, floors or decoration; ask for the agreed scope to make this clear.
